Tennessee Republicans are pushing for the end of legal abortion in the state of 6.7 million people if the U.S. Supreme Court strikes a blow to Roe vs. Wade.
Anti-abortion activists routinely use words like “violation” and “fail” to describe minor deficiencies at abortion clinics, making some administrative errors look like gross violations of patient safety.
If anti-abortion lawmakers truly care about women’s health or have any desire to protect children and families, there are plenty of ways they could show their support.
"How is the pro-life side ever guilty of something that equates to violence?" Republican Sen. Ben Sasse asked during a recent judiciary committee hearing.
