Well, fellow law nerds, we did it. We made it through the worst year of abortion rights in decades, and we did it together. (That is until the Supreme Court guts Roe v. Wade in 2022.)

In the final 2021 episode of Boom! Lawyered, hosts Jessica Mason Pieklo and Imani Gandy go off the rails on a truly off-the-rails year at the Court. And they’re joined by a special guest! The producer behind the mic—the man we would save in the man-rapture: Marc Faletti.

They hit on the highs and lows of the year and the best and the worst (mostly the worst) that came out of the courts and the states. And after highlighting the abortion heroes and villains of 2021, they take a look forward: at what they predict 2022 will bring us, and at their hopes for the new year.
