Susy Chávez Herrera

Susy Chávez Herrera is a new mother, reproductive justice advocate, communications specialist for social justice, and the Communications Director at California Latinas for Reproductive Justice. As a Los Angeles native living in Southern Arizona and first generation daughter of immigrants, she is deeply invested in abolishing ICE, working towards racial justice, and dismantling white supremacy. She is a former Ms. Foundation Public Fellow with the Op-Ed Project who holds a bachelor’s degree in studio arts from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s in anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin.
