Elected in 2015, Senator Margie Bright Matthews serves the 45^th district of South Carolina. She serves on the Medical Affairs, Judiciary, Transportation, Fish, Game and Forestry, and Corrections and Penology Committees. She is an attorney and the president of the Colleton County Bar Association.
