I am an Assoc. Professor of Women’s Studies and English in central Illinois. Until 2008, I worked as a patient advocate in an independent abortion clinic in Ohio. I’m also on the board of the Abortion Conversation Project and a member of the Abortion Care Network. I research abortion and language, literature, and politics.
