Emily O’Brien

Emily O’Brien is a reproductive justice advocate, with a particular passion for abortion access advocacy. She is a graduate student in Miami University’s English department, and is currently teaching first-year college composition and researching  the transformative political potential of abortion narratives. She is also a freelance writer who has been published in Salon, and has also been interviewed for Vice News and KitchenSync. Emily’s activist work includes a volunteer position as the Vice President of Indiana’s state chapter of the National Organization for Women (IN NOW), and she is one of IN NOW’s representatives on the newly formed Indiana Reproductive Justice Coalition.
