Elizabeth Brico
Elizabeth Brico is a freelance writer and journalism fellow with TalkPoverty. In 2019, she was a Reimagining Communities fellow with the National Council for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls researching the use of predictive analytics in the child welfare system. Her writing can be found in a variety of publications, including The Appeal, Filter Mag, Undark, VICE, Vox, Prism, and more. She believes in the abolition of all carceral systems, and will vehemently defend the idea that science fiction is the new literary realism.
