Derek P. Siegel (they/them) is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, studying inequality and reproduction. Derek serves as an intake coordinator and board member with the Abortion Rights Fund of Western Massachusetts. In addition to writing about abortion, Derek also writes about trans women’s experiences of reproduction and parenting.
