Cliff Albright
Cliff is Co-founder and Executive Director of Black Voters Matter Fund (BVM), which builds community and organizational capacity related to Black voting power. BVM was one of several organizations which mobilized Black voters to defeat Roy Moore in Alabama’s 2017 U.S. Senate race and which has continued to mobilize Black voters throughout the South. He is also principal consultant at Strategic Cliff Notes. Cliff hosts a weekly radio show in Atlanta, has served as an instructor of African-American Studies and has contributed articles and op eds to The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian and others. Cliff previously lived in historic Selma, Alabama, where he focused on bringing financial resources to Alabama’s blackbelt region. He incorporates a community organizing perspective based on more than 20 years of social justice activism. Cliff attended Cornell University, where he obtained his B.S. in Applied Economics and an M.P.S. in Africana Studies. He also has an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama.
