Brian Nguyen
Brian Nguyen is currently a medical student in his second year at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, as well as a coordinator of the university's chapter of the Medical Students for Choice, a group dedicated to resolving the nation's shortage of abortion providers through the destigmatization and inclusion of abortion in medical school education. A self-proclaimed sensitive male, Brian has focused his graduate education on exploring progressive avenues for male involvement in reproductive health such that decisions involving planned or unplanned pregnancies progress from an issue of women's interest to that of public interest. Upon graduating from Brown, Brian plans to enter an OB/GYN residency, leading up to a fellowship in family planning. More than become an expert in female birth control, Brian hopes to be one of the first doctors to prescribe male oral contraceptives when they become available.
