After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the Biden administration issued guidance on the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) to say that emergency care includes abortion care.

This week, Jess and Imani get into Jaci Statton’s case—the perfect example of what’s wrong with relying on EMTALA to enforce abortion rights.
