Full Bill Text
HB 1942 would disclose the names of judges who approve minor abortion applications. The law would require that only a judge elected or appointed to the court in which an application is filed to be allowed to rule over the application. The name of the judge who grants an application authorizing a minor to consent to the performance of an abortion would be subject to disclosure. The same would be required for any appeal process involving the authorization of a minor to consent.
