Full Bill Text
HB 1230, as amended, would recognize the sanctity of human life.
STATUS
Passed the House on February 19, 2015 by a vote of 65-3. Tabled by Senate Health and Human Services Committee.
HB 1230 originally was the Preborn Infant Beheading Ban, a law which targeted dilation and evacuation, a procedure frequently used during second-trimester abortions. On February 19, 2015, it was extensively amended (hoghoused) and became, essentially, a resolution recognizing the sanctity of human life. Bizarrely, the “bill” does not say when life begins or offer any definitions.
