H.R. 573 would prohibit the Secretary of Health and Human Services from conducting or supporting any research involving human fetal tissue that is obtained from an induced abortion.
The bill would prohibit the solicitation or knowing acquisition, receipt, or acceptance of a donation of human fetal tissue knowing that the pregnancy was deliberately initiated to provide such tissue; or the tissue was obtained from an induced abortion.
