Full Bill Text
HB 1934 would have required the Department of Health and Senior Services to create a video that contains all of the information that must be provided to a woman considering an abortion before her consent would be deemed voluntary and informed. The required information was set forth in Missouri’s informed consent law, Mo. Rev. Stat. § 188.027. Except in cases of medical emergency, a physician who is to perform an abortion would have beeen required to show the video to the woman at least 24 hours prior to the abortion.
