Full Bill Text
SB 573 would require the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to license abortion clinics as freestanding outpatient surgical facilities.
Under this law, facilities that perform at least 120 surgical abortions per year would not be able to continue to perform surgical abortions until they have obtained a license from the department.
