Full Bill Text
HB 473 would propose an amendment to the Constitution of Kentucky to clarify that the state Constitution does not create a right to abortion or a right to funding for an abortion.
The amendment would specify that the General Assembly has the full authority to protect human life “from the moment of fertilization until natural death without regard to age, health, or condition of dependency.”
If passed, the amendment would be submitted to the voters of Kentucky.
