Connecticut Bill Regarding Abortion Counseling for Minors (SB 315)
This law was last updated on Nov 19, 2018
SB 315 would require persons who are sixteen and seventeen years of age to receive pregnancy information and counseling.
Current law in Connecticut requires a physician or counselor to provide minors with pregnancy information and counseling prior to the performance of an abortion procedure. Under the law, a minor is described as a person less than 16 years of age.
This bill would amend the definition of minor to apply to persons less than 18 years of age.
