Full Bill Text
HB 2649 would have reinstated nurse practitioners’ and physician’s assistants’ ability to prescribe and administer abortion medication. The bill would also have removed the requirement that a physician (as opposed to a nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant) must fulfill the informed consent requirements enacted in HB 2036 and codified at A.R.S. § 36-2153.
