Stacey Burns was formerly the Rewire.News Manager of Social Media Outreach. Prior to joining Rewire.News, she worked at the National Network of Abortion Funds as their Online Communications Manager. A graduate of the University of Texas, Austin, she comes to Rewire.News from an organizing and public health background. In the world before Twitter she oversaw NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota’s Abortion Provider Expansion Project, which increased the pool of abortion providers in the Midwest by expanding training opportunities for medical and nursing professionals, and she continues to serve on the advisory board of Nursing Students for Choice.
