Shaya French
Shaya French is a community organizer who is passionate about bringing spirituality into movement spaces and social justice action into faith spaces. In 2015-2016, as the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation intern, Shaya worked in partnership with women-of-color led reproductive justice groups and faith organizations to mobilize Unitarian Universalists to show up for reproductive justice. She organizes with the LGBTQ prisoner organization, Black and Pink and Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ). She lives in Boston, MA in a UU co-op house with eleven other adults, a part-time 13-year-old and a dog.
