Robin Marty is the author of “The New Handbook for a Post-Roe America,” the second, expanded edition of the 2019 abortion access guidebook “Handbook for a Post-Roe America.” She is also the co-author of “The End of Roe v. Wade” (formerly “Crow After Roe”), an updated account of 12 different abortion laws meant to provoke challenges to Roe v. Wade, with Rewire News Group Executive Editor Jessica Mason Pieklo. A former Rewire News Group reporter, Marty is currently the Operations Director for West Alabama Women’s Center and a volunteer for The Yellowhammer Fund. Marty resides in Alabama.

FDL Action mobilizes phone bank on Stop Stupak Day

On Wednesday, December 2nd, reproductive rights advocates across the country are rallying to protest the Stupak-Pitts amendment in the House health care bill. If you can't attend a rally, you can still get involved: One Voice for Choice, a web site sponsored by FDL Action PAC, an arm of the liberal blog Firedoglake, is sponsoring phone-banking efforts to "pro-choice" Democrats who may be soft on "choice."
