Lucane LaFortune, M.Ed., is a Haitian-American intersectional womanist. Currently pursuing a PhD in Education and Transformational Leadership, her work is concerned with survivors on the margins. Lucane has served as a victim service expert for more than 20 years. She is the co-founder of Culture Works, a social justice firm that aims to enhance the way organizations, government agencies, and businesses engage culturally diverse communities.
