Jill Miller Zimon
Jill Miller Zimon is a freelance writer and Executive Director of OpenNEO, a not for profit catalyzing open data for better public sector policy and practice. She also is an Adjunct Professor in social work at Cleveland State University. Her writing has been featured by the Washington Post, the New York Times, Politico, Newsweek.com, Campaigns & Elections, the Plain Dealer, Cleveland Family, CNN, CSPAN, the BBC, and both state and local Ohio public broadcasting outlets, among others. She speaks regularly on politics, diversity, women and the media, and conducts social media training workshops for a wide variety of audiences. Jill serves on the boards of the Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio, the Urban League of Greater Cleveland and the American Jewish Committee. She is Vice Chair of the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. Jill served as a Pepper Pike City Council member (2010-2013) and has run twice for the Ohio House of Representatives.
