Jallicia Jolly
Jallicia Jolly is a PhD candidate in American Studies at the University of Michigan where she researches the interplay of race, gender, sexuality and health in the lives of African American and Caribbean women. She has written on the cultural politics of HIV, reproductive justice, and feminist health organizing for the Black Youth Project, The Huffington Post, and ForHarriet. When she’s not writing about health and resistance, she’s traveling and performing spoken word poetry.
