Galen Donoviel is the Senior Development Manager for Rewire News Group. Prior to joining the RNG team, Galen served as Senior Development Manager at Project PAVE, a Denver-based anti-violence nonprofit, where she managed all fundraising efforts and significantly diversified the funding stream. For the past three years, Galen has also worked as a freelance grant writer for reproductive justice organizations and volunteered as an abortion doula for pregnant people seeking health care in Colorado.

Beyond repro justice, her primary areas of focus are gender-based violence, mental health, houselessness, and refugee/immigrant rights. Galen holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in ethnic studies and philosophy from Colorado State University where she founded a student-led organization, Rams for Refugees, to support refugee aid efforts abroad and across the Front Range. Outside of work she spends her time continuing her personal education, climbing, skiing, scuba diving, and ceaselessly attempting to tire out her insane blue heeler, Tallulah.
