Florence M. Simán
Florence M. Simán is the Director of Development, Co-Director of Operations, and founding Board Member of the North Carolina-based Latine advocacy group, El Pueblo. Originally from El Salvador, Florence moved to North Carolina with her parents to escape political turmoil. Florence grew up in the N.C. school system, received her undergraduate degree from UNC, and graduated with a Master of Public Health, specializing in Health Behavior, Health Education. In addition to her work at El Pueblo, Florence has worked on several health-related projects throughout the state advocating for improved access to health services for all.
