Cory Richards
Cory Richards followed sexual and reproductive health politics and policy development for more than three decades. A graduate of Yale University, he joined the Guttmacher Institute in 1975. As vice president for public policy and editor of the Institute’s quarterly, the Guttmacher Policy Review, Mr. Richards wrote and lectured widely on sexual and reproductive health policy concerns. As senior vice president, he also served on the Institute’s senior management team. Mr. Richards held volunteer leadership positions with a number of leading organizations concerned with sexual health and reproductive rights, including the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the U.S. (SIECUS), NARAL Pro-Choice America, the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association, the National Abortion Federation, the American Public Health Association and, most recently, the Global Campaign for Microbicides.
Mr. Richards passed away on April 4th, 2013.
