Representative Mary E. González is a freshman legislator for Texas House District 75: an area that includes east El Paso County. Representative González is pursuing her Doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction- Cultural Studies in Education at the University of Texas at Austin. She is an educator and national presenter on issues of race, gender, sexual identity and coalition building. Mary has dedicated her life to promoting social change through her community engagement, professional experiences and academic background.
