Laila Salaam is a passionate young advocate for reproductive justice. She currently holds the position of Lead Organizer at Reproaction, where she tirelessly advocates for self-managed abortion with pills, D.C. statehood, and an end to the criminalization of pregnancy outcomes.

In addition to her role at Reproaction, Laila is also actively involved in promoting the advancement of reproductive justice through various avenues. She is a Youth Organizing Fellow with Americans United for Separation of Church and State, working to promote reproductive rights and separation of church and state. Furthermore, Laila serves as a book club lead for HEART Women and Girls, where she empowers Muslims to engage in open and honest conversations about sexual health and relationships.
