Peter Dreier is the E.P. Clapp Distinguished Professor of Politics at Occidental College.  His most recent book is “The 100 Greatest Americans of the 20^th Century: A Social Justice Hall of Fame” (Nation Books).  He is currently editing a book (with Kate Aronoff and Michael Kazin), “Democratic Socialism – American Style,” to be published in 2020 by The New Press. He is also writing a book (with Robert Elias) to be called “Baseball Rebels.”  He writes regularly for American Prospect, Dissent, The Nation, and the Los Angeles Times.
