Speaker of the House John Boehner is finding himself on the other end of some anti-abortion zealotry.  He’s just picked up a primary challenger who believes the Ohio Congressman isn’t “anti-choice” enough to keep his seat, Tea Party activist David Lewis.

“I’m not delusional. I don’t know if I have a chance at beating the Speaker of the House,” Lewis said Friday. “But what I can do is show the Ohio voters that Boehner has a box full of empty rhetoric. He doesn’t really vote for his convictions. He’s an establishment Republican. He doesn’t believe in the tea party. He doesn’t really believe in the pro-life issues.”

As for the nature of the anti-Boehner abortion ads, Lewis said, “There is a saying that people will not reject abortion until people see abortion.”

So why is Lewis running?  To show graphic anti-abortion ads on television, of course.  Because Lewis is a follower of Randall Terry, Operation Rescue founder and instigator of running abortion ads masquerading as campaign commercials in order to “raise awareness of the pro-life cause.”

Guess that meeting last December wasn’t fruitful enough after all.
