Regina was living in Maryland in 2000, when she and her husband made the difficult decision to terminate her pregnancy at 29 weeks, past the point of viability.
She now lives in Wisconsin, where the state’s restrictive abortion laws would have made her situation even more difficult. In 2015, Regina testified against Wisconsin’s unconstitutional 20-week ban. She continues to tell her story in an effort to help halt Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s anti-choice agenda.
