Full Bill Text
AB 311 would require Planned Parenthood and other family planning clinics to purchase contraceptive drugs at a higher rate through Medicaid.
The legislation would raise rates by requiring certain clinics to bill their actual acquisition cost and the dispensing fee permitted under Medicaid when billing the state Medical Assistance Program for reimbursement of a prescription drug.
Two other bills being considered, SB 237 and AB 310, would divert Title X funding from Planned Parenthood. Combined, the proposals would reduce the amount of public funds that Planned Parenthood Wisconsin receives by $7.5 million per year.
STATUS
Companion to SB 238.
