SB 319 would allow a parent or custodian of a child, by a properly executed power of attorney, to delegate powers concerning the care and custody of the child to another person.
The bill would not allow the power of attorney to consent to any of the following:
- marriage of the child;
- adoption of the child;
- performance of inducement of an abortion on or for the child; or
- termination of parental rights to the child.
