Full Bill Text
HB 2172 would require that any parental notification or consent required by law must be obtained in writing by the parent or by the notarized signature of the parent of a minor seeking an abortion. Facilities that fail to comply would be fined in the amount of ten times the cost of the abortion for the first offense. Any subsequent failure to comply would result in the facility being closed for a period of 30 days.
