Washington Bill Regarding Medicaid Enrollee Contraceptive Access (HB 2022)
This law was last updated on Mar 18, 2015
HB 2022 would have required the Health Care Authority to make arrangements for all Medicaid programs offered through managed care plans or fee-for-service to require dispensing of contraceptive drugs with up to a one-year supply provided at one time. Contracts with managed care plans would have had to allow on-site dispensing of the prescribed contraceptive drugs at family planning clinics.
Died in committee. Companion bill to SB 5884.
