Washington Bill Concerning Human Rights Commission Rules on Gender Segregated Facilities (HB 2935)
This law was last updated on Jun 2, 2016
HB 2935 would require the human rights commission to repeal rule WAC 162-32-060, which currently allows trans people to use bathrooms based on their gender identity or gender expression.
The bill further prohibits the human rights commission from thereafter initiating any rule-making procedure that involves the subject of gender segregated facilities.
Companion bill to SB 6443.
