Reporting RequirementsFull Bill Text
HB 144 would require each abortion facility in the state to submit a monthly report to the department on each abortion that is performed at the facility. Current law requires that the reports be submitted annually.
The department would need to establish and maintain a secure electronic reporting system for the submission of each report. Additionally, the department would need to adopt procedures to enforce such reporting.
The report would need to be published on the Internet and may not identify any abortion facility, physician or patient.
