Oregon Bill Requiring Ultrasound at Least 72 Hours Prior to Abortion (HB 3059)

HB 3059 would require an ultrasound be performed on an individual who undergoes an abortion at least 72 hours before the abortion procedure.
A health-care facility that fails to perform an abortion at least 72 hours prior to any abortion would face a civil penalty of $2,000.
