Oklahoma Admitting Privileges Law (HB 2418)

HB 2418 would require physicians who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a hospital which offers obstetrical or gynecological care within 30 miles of the location where the abortion is to be performed.
A violation of the provision would subject the physician to a felony conviction carrying a penalty of 1 to 3 years in prison.
Passed the House on February 27, 2014, but ultimately failed to pass.
