Full Bill Text
H 28 would prohibit an abortion from being performed after 13 weeks of pregnancy unless there is a medical emergency.
Current state law prohibits abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
A qualified physician who performs an abortion after the thirteenth week of a pregnancy would need to record and report the findings and analysis on which they based the determination that such an emergency existed.
