S 5175 would require pregnancy service centers to disclose to a client the following information:
- Women who are or may be pregnant are encouraged to consult with a licensed medical provider;
- If it does or does not have a licensed medical provider on staff; and
- If it does or does not provide or provide referrals for abortion, emergency contraception, or prenatal care.
The disclosures would need to be in writing, in English and Spanish on at least one conspicuously posted sign in the entrance of the center, as well as in the room where clients receive services, and in any advertisement promoting services.
