New York Bill Regarding Crisis Pregnancy Center Disclosures (A 3748)

A 3748 would require crisis pregnancy centers to disclose to a client that when inquiring about pregnancy termination, abortion or birth control, such center will not provide such services or make a referral for such services.
A CPC would need to disclose this information upon first contact with the client either in a written statement or orally.
Any CPC that violates this provision would be subject to a civil fine of up to $100 on the first violation and up to $250 on the second and all subsequent violations.
