HB 608 would allow health-care facilities to refuse to admit any patient for the purposes of performing an abortion.
Any person employed by—or associated with—such facilities would be able to refuse to participate in medical procedures that will result in the termination of a pregnancy if they object to the abortion on moral, religious or personal conviction grounds.
