SB 100 would require a person performing an abortion on a pregnant person to first inform the patient of the opportunity to view an active ultrasound and ultrasound images, and listen to the fetal heart tone of the fetus.

The pregnant person would need to provide written certification acknowledging that they were offered such opportunity and indicate whether or not they accepted.
A person who performs or attempts to perform an abortion in violation would be subject to a civil penalty of $1,000.
