HB 600 would have allowed sex to be considered when issuing or proving certain insurance coverage. The bill would have allowed for a person to use industry-approved actuarial standards based on sex in establishing insurance premium rates.
HB 600 would have essentially allowed insurance companies to discriminate in pricing based on gender.
