SB 883 would require abortion providers to provide the printed materials developed by the Department of Health under Missouri’s informed consent law (Mo. Rev. Stat. § 188.027) to any woman they refer to an out-of-state abortion clinic. If the referral is not made in person, the abortion provider would have to mail the printed materials.
STATUS
Similar to SB 302, which failed to pass in 2015.
