HB 1794 would amend state law to state that personhood begins at conception and “unborn children” are people.
The bill would require law enforcement officers, officers of the court, and any licensed or state regulated entities in Missouri to affirmatively enforce Article I, Section 10 of the Constitution of Missouri, which specifies “that no person must be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.”
The “All Lives Matter Act” seems to be a deliberate attempt at appropriating the Black Lives Matter movement in order to pass a personhood law that would end abortion in Missouri.
