Fetal Tissue, Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers

Full Bill Text

HF 3200 would require the health commissioner to inspect all hospitals, clinics, medical facilities, and laboratories responsible for the disposition of fetal tissue to ensure that fetal tissue is disposed of in compliance with state law and is not subject to sale for research purposes.

Inspections would be required to include an inspection of the physical premises of the facility and an audit of the facility’s procedures for disposition of fetal tissue.

The bill would require the commissioner to submit a report to the legislature on the results of inspections.
